Michael has been a practicing Business Litigator and Mediator in downtown Toronto for over 40 years. Prior to joining Quantum Business Law Michael was a Senior Partner at Dickinson Wright LLP on Bay Street. In addition to his JD, Michael holds a Masters of Law Degree in Alternative Dispute Resolution from Osgood Hall Law School. Michael is a Certified Mediator on the Attorney General’s List of Approved Mediators. Lastly, Michael holds an M.Ed. in applied Psychology from U of T School of Graduate Studies.

Michael has extensive experience in cases involving breach of contract, shareholders’ rights, injunctions, investor disputes and class actions.

He represents financial institutions, national corporations, and regional businesses as well as individuals and investor groups.

Michael and his business dispute team represent numerous real estate developers in conflict situations involving municipalities, rate payer groups and environmentalists.
